just some comm sketches.
it has come to my attention that a few people actually read my thoughts. in that case im sorry that i have been getting more and more silent and self depricating.
being online can feel like screaming into the void over and over again. self depricating jokes are never as funny or relateable as you think they are. and even words said carelessly can have great impact. you might never know, how people will see you.
its been getting harder and harder to stream on a regular basis. i still love it. my mind is just very anxious. so every support i get is adorable and great. makes me even more guilty with how little i can provide good entertainmaint at points. i want my streams over on twitch to be high energy and good vibes, so im more selective in the streaming days.
i wouldnt say my art has suffered from this, but i have been drawing less.
today, while streaming, i discussed the artworks i did in the past for the same character (this is melovesfoxes btw), and showed the other illustrations i did. the character design is very cartoony, which can be hard to do justice in my particular art style. i often adjust my style ever so slightly to be closer to my clients reference sheet. most people do that. being flexible with your style is a requirement for most furry commission artists. you never know! what cool and whacky designs will land on your desk! still im sticking to my usual proportions quite a lot ><
anyways. prompt of this was:
"like you caught Foxes ( https://d.furaffinity.net/art/melov.....xes_newref.png ) in the middle of doing something, and you just said their name and they turned to look at you. Basically looking at the "camera" looking over the shoulder. Kinda like "the pearl earing" painting"
im doing these sorta not really monochrome sketches kinda like underpaintings. its interesting to limit myself a bit more, specially since i have been way too enthusiastic with colors at times. limiting my sketches forces me to be a bit more focused on my values. its good i think.
still learning clip studio paint. i will have to try and animate in this program in a bit. till then, expect some more paintings!
