Luca isn't 100% sure that this baby already got the Wolf traits. (He knows that usually doesn't happen until one reaches puberty.) He just presumes it has healing, since it survived that whole ripping out shenanigan...
Doesn't suspect that baby will be anything but a normal baby, though. So in this moment he figures he may eventually hand the child to someone he can trust to take care of a "normal" baby. Though he doesn't yet know to whom. Plays it by ear, basically. My socials, arts ‘n stuff~
