‘Hold on, I got you,…’
“My friend Fang keeps trying to convince me that she is some kind of ‘goddess,’ but I really have my doubts.
For starters, I’ve met gods before, the Dark Forces,… world-eating monsters from the stars,… and the Primal Forces,… the elemental forces of nature themselves,… both of which are very powerful and very inhuman,… yet Fang doesn’t seem anything like them, and appears about as human as I am.
More so, she seems to get into trouble on the islands more than I do, you would think a ‘Goddess of the Jungle’ wouldn’t be constantly falling victim to all manner of jungle dangers, right?
Like today, in the midst of our volleyball game against each other the ball went way off out of bounds, and when Fang went to go get it back she wound up in quicksand, which I’m now trying to rescue her from, which really doesn’t sound right for a goddess, does it?
Hmm,… maybe she’s really like a goddess of bad luck or something?”

A belated birthday gift from my friend Jungledeities, of his character Fang having found herself in an all too familiar peril, and being rescued by my Ember. ~^
While this certainly doesn’t help Fang’s case about being a goddess, it definitely is a very nice picture. Fang looks really good in her beach outfit, and that worried glance downward, with her teeth gritted, make for a great expression, as the quicksand hugs around her hips. Ember looks just as good coming to the rescue, her vibrant colors really stand out against the pale beach sands, I love her posing, with her feet trying to brace against the sand. The quicksand looks really nice as it squeezes around Fang’s hips, only slightly darker than the surrounding beach sands, and I like the drag lines in the sand around Ember’s feet, showing her sliding across the sands as she tries to pull Fang free. Another great peril picture and a most appreciated birthday present. ^^
Thank you very much for this another amazing gift JD, I am very lucky to have such good friends as you. ^^
What do you think? :D.
