I did this this morning after  arpad left for work, because I wanted to randomly surprise him when he came home tonight!

I literally put this together with crap laying around the house. It's hardcover (aka cardboard, lul), has 3 signatures (about 50 pages) and is stitched together with blue embroidery thread. All of the paper is just scrapbook paper that I thought looked pretty together.

Not pictured is a little plate I put on the inside of one of the endpapers with his name and the date on it. :3

The first picture is before I attached all the pages in, so you guys could see the stitched together paper and the pretty thread.
