Born during the late 1940s, post-WWII, Hubert always had a knack for engineering. Whether it was creative ideas or strange experiments, he was exceptionally skilled at whatever he made. However, being born of German descent fresh after the not-so-good World War, made him often disliked and hated upon moving to the United States, which he did for business opportunities regarding his engineering work.
After his first year in the US, he found another interest he was good at, this time in science. He wanted to do science before but was not allowed to partake in it, at the wish of his parents, back home for fear that he or someone else would misuse his science like had been done before to others.
He excelled at science greatly and, even when he was despised simply for being German, he never let it get him down and soon became a world-renowned engineer and scientist. Countless colleges and schools often fought to get him to visit and bestow his skills and wisdom amongst the growing generations.
In 1967, however, a small miscalculation ended up being one of the best accidents he could've ended up doing. While mixing several chemical vials together, he added slightly too much of two of them before ingesting, what was supposed to be, an anti-aging serum. Instead, he transformed, growing bigger as he had inadvertantly turned himself from anthro to feral, but thankfully his cognitive functions remained unchanged.
After that scare, and struggle with his less-than-useful feral arms, he created an antidote and got back to his anthro self. He took note of that mixture, as he quite liked the option to turn to a feral version of himself if he so wanted to. He then properly finished the anti-aging serum, but didn't use it as, he found, that it would permanently stop him from aging, so he wanted to preserve it and grow a bit older before he felt it was time.
Then, finally, in the year 2006, he did. Not only did he feel rejuvenated like he was young again, it ended up reversing a notable few effects of his decades of aging, making him truly like he was 29 all over again, and he couldn't have been happier.
Across his life, he always lived a relatively normally. Through his lifetime thus far, he has acquired three vehicles, two of which he consistently tends to experiment on just for the fun of it. While the third vehicle remains untouched and he prefers to keep it that way, as it was a family heirloom and the only remnant of his life back home in Germany.
So this is a very old adopt who I've had this name for, but he has lacking a backstory for years now. So much so that I forgot about him and a second adopt I got from a batch back in....I think 2022. I had some pieces written for him but nothing like a dedicated story, but thankfully that's all changed now.
His anthro form has no reference yet, but working on that.
