Suffering and art are close friends.
Those books will not change this fact.
Bah, it's just that I didn't find the book I wanted. But that did not prevent me to buy a Mariscal comic.

Cuánta razón! Esas estanterías del corte inglés llenas de libros de "aprende a dibujar..." (Como bien dices, algunos de ellos con portadas cutrísimas, como esos de manga, donde prometen que dibujarás como un mangaka en 2 días). Como bien dices, si quieres aprender, coge un lápiz y un papel, y ahora comienza un proceso de años y años de busqueda, que al final, te das cuenta de que nunca termina.
Sep, los unicos libros de ese tipo que he visto, son todos
bastante cutres y no ayudan mucho que digamos.
Si quieres aprender aprender a dibujar, obten lapiz y papel, y dibuja...

I never thought of it that way [suffering and art]. As a photographer, it can often times be difficult to get the shot unless you step outside of your comfort zone. The last client I had had an outdoor concert in the midst of a heat wave; it was 107°F (41.67°C), with no clouds and barely a breeze. Because there were no clouds, many of my pictures came out with really hard contrasts, and the heat made me sweat like a dog with sweat glands.

Y si lo que buscas es algo para aprender, pero que no sea cualquier cosa, como ya te dije. Busca el libro de "Aprender a dibujar con el ledo derecho del cerebro. De betty Edwards 8ª edición (la última) XD
