i've had the need to get a new dragon sona for myself for quite some time, yet the only steps in actually thinking about and conceptualizing them have only started slightly more than a month ago. fast forward to today, i'm ready to reveal what Alphie and I have been cooking up the past few days, introducing Traffic the Trafficdragon!
Their claws, horns and orb on the tail can change between four colours to reflect your typical traffic lights. However the accent colours don't mean anything, they're just a cosmetic addition. What actually works like those is their fire breaths: Red, Green and Cyan. Red and Green are your usual traffic light colours and the fire acts in a similar fashion. Red fire is completely impassable, while Green fire is safe to pass through. That is, when you're aware of the traffic light connotation, it may seem like all three colours hurt just as much if you don't know about them. Cyan fire however, hurts like absolute HECK. There's no going around that in any way, shape or form. If you somehow got caught with a Cyan flame from them, then uh.. good luck putting that out however. it's more resistent to water than the generic orange flames.
this wonderful creature was drawn by Alphie on Bluesky. You can find the original post of the pic here!

oh that's because i set it to adult, thought it'd be a more approriate label for that instead since they're still a few dozen digits heavier but nothing explicit is shown :x
