i designed silly carbuncles for my silly FF14 characters :)
this is the first one that i did !
his owner is C'malha Tia, a Seeker of The Sun Miqo'te that tend to prefer warmer climes and are often found in La Noscea. FF14 beach episode
i had a few inspirations for this one; FF15's Carbuncle is also fennec-like and i thought it would suit a character like C'malha who often takes naps on the beaches and such and so forth. other such inspirations include "i love big fluffy tails" and "BIG EARS" so i have little else to mansplain past that
doing some research on the properties of Mookaite Jasper results in.. many different answers. including focus, confidence, self-worth and healing through ancestral trauma. it's said to be the stone of "the here and now" too. cute, right!
