During the DHC photoshoot, the photographer(and good friend) requested I take a step forward in the shot. I felt strange stepping in front of everyone else, but it then hit me that I made all the costumes I was standing with... Sometimes I really do forget to take a step back (or in this case forward) and look at what I've done and gotten to be apart of. I am so thankful to everyone of you has supported Skuff and I. We truly love what we do here for all of you and would not trade it for the world. To see you all out there expressing yourselves and bringing joy to those around you is more than I could ever ask. I am so happy that I have gotten the chance to share my joy and style of costuming with so many people. Some people I have never even met! You all are some of the greatest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. Its funny that in this picture, I see friends rather than customers. While DHC is a business, I still find myself befriending alot of our members simply cuz I can't help but to get to know them through the process of working with them! I truly appreciate those of you who can attend the photoshoot/meet and greet because it really makes it worth going to every con I can to see you all and get the chance to get to know you! Thank you all so much, for everything. Dont Hug Cacti would not mean what it means without ya'll! (I'm Texan shooosh)

I dunno if i can speak for all of us. But as one of the 'older' suits..*yush i is grey muzzle* you've come along way hun. Your style and your passion for doing it comes thru in every suit I have seen you do. While I might not wear my suit alot, it isn't because I don't love it or the great and hard work you and Skuff did for me on it. Its actually my most cherished possession. Thank you for all that you've done for all of us. *hugs you tight and snugs* And you will always be to me a friend above all else. Not just the person who made my suit.

It was really awesome getting to chill with ya some more at AC Lucky, even if it was only for a little bit. I'd really like to get to know you more at future cons. Chatting online is one thing but in person I get to see you're true nature, and personality.

Seeing this picture warms my heart. I am grateful for being in the same fandom as you, as you were one of my biggest influences when I first entered the fandom back in 2007. Because of you and the rest of the DHC family, I got to see the good side of the fursuiting community, in a time when I was still unsure of it due to all of the media backlash. You and Skuff have so much talent and it shows by looking at all of these suits.
It's because of furs like you guys that I want to one day own a fursuit. I want to put smiles on everyone's faces, make them laugh, and have a great time making new friends and chilling with preexisting ones. I only wish I had more time to talk with you at AC this year, as unfortunately for how busy it was, I just got to say hi to you and that was about it, but that's how big cons roll. :3

It's all pretty remarkable when you consider the body of your work and consider there are a ton of options out there to folks as far as vendors go for getting suits made. You've managed to carve out your own niche and keep it fresh enough to not drive yourself crazy with it yet.
