Finally, I commisioned a pic that relates to Pokemon Legends Arceus! I have honestly been wanting to get something based of this specific Pokemon game for a long time now. Because I love this game! Like I’m not even joking when I say Legends Arceus is one of my favourite games in the series. Not my absolute all-time favourite, that honour still belongs to Sun and Moon for a variety of reasons, but the fact that Arceus came INCREDIBLLY close to being my new all-time favourite thanks to it’s unique setting, gameplay and the great looking Hisui forms of certain classic Pokemon most of which I actually prefer to there original forms now *ESPECIALLY Hisui Typhlosion. Like I already like normal Typhlosion, Cyndiquall was my first ever starter in a Pokemon game after all, but dam is this version of Typhlosion so much cooler to me* is quite an accomplishment. So, since we are getting a new Legends game in only a couple months it felt only right to get an old concept I’ve had floating in my head since I originally played this game back in 2022.

Not long after I had finished the game I had considered getting something relating to it involving my resident Pokemon OC Mikaela dressed up in some of the drip from the game. Or I guess a Hisui Mikaela if she existed in the time period this game takes place in. Honestly, this could be seen as either or. Mainly since there are customization items in game that felt a lot like Mikaela’s own default design of stylish grey’s and blacks, just with a headband thingy instead of a normal hat. Although, something along the lines of Mikaela’s hat exists in game anyway. I could of gone anything from Legends Arecus to dress Mikaela in because in general I’d say this game has some really great clothing options to put your character in. This might just be my own bias talking here because I genuinely love this old Japanesse fashion. But seeing as how I found a set that mimicked my own girls typical clothing and the whole “me half playing part of this up as if it’s an ancestor of Mikaela’s that’s visting Ye Olde Shinno from Ye Olde Kalos” I went with this rather stylish looking fit.

Either way, I’m happy to have finally gotten something based of this Pokemon game I love a lot and can’t wait until Legends ZA comes out. Especially since it takes us to a version of Kalos where Mikaela was originally from so that will be fun to see and fingers crossed that gives me something good to dress her up in in a pic. Granted I am a little disappointed that it’s not following the same timeline philosophy as Arceus did where it’s set in an ancient past but hey, as long as I’m personally having fun with it that’s all that matters to me. Ironically it’s actually kind of reminding me of Drakengard and the original Nier a little which are both games set in the same universe just one is in a typical old fantasy world and the other’s in an alternate version of the 21st century heh.
