Once upon a time Amdukias Mourningsong lived in the magnificent city of magic, Atlantis.
There he was a jobless derelict thieving to make ends meet with his brother Helelos Mourningsong.
Both had the bright idea one day to steal precious artifacts from the castle vault in order to escape.
Inside the vault the brothers found numerous archmage-level artifacts, but were allured to a select few.
Amdukias found the “Ring of Solomon” and placed it on his hand, thus envisioning the end of all life.
Helelos found the “Beast Mirror” and laughed as a portal to the Midnight Lands opened.
Servitors rushed to the vault with wands in hands.
Grabbing Helelos by the shoulder, Amdukias shoved them both through the Beast Mirror.
Imposter Amdukias smirks as the original splits in twain; history is altered forevermore.
