While I wasn't exactly expecting this, it does not surprise me much to see it come to pass. After all, that trio has already shown that there's more to them than meets the eye, not to mention naming the team off of celestial signs, which just so happen to coincide with everybodies sign. They too, it seems, know a thing or two about portents in the stars. Interesting that they apparently have a history with Ghoul. Heh, based on how calm they are (even if the gator/croc is highly agitated), I don't think Ghoul's going to accomplish much more than talk.
Now that was unexpected... yet something in the back of my mind tells me I should have guessed they might have a history, given Ramas's rather peculiar air of mystery and intrigue about himself. Given the others' expressions, it seems he is not alone in having a familiarity with this villain.
These three wouldn't happen to 'gods', would they? Reworking fates is not a power to be taken lightly, nor is it something that can remain under the radar for long. Power forever draws power to it, and reshaping fates has a tendancy to be noticed. Ghoul seems to have been drawn to these three, and I bet it has something to do with an unveiling of power. I can't wait until next week, by the way.
Wait... *puts two and two together* Ramas and Ghoul both have an Egyptian background, yes? The jackel spoke before of fate, and Ghoul's powers are based on the stars. The ancient Egyptians used the stars to align their pyramids and also held that part of a person's soul joined the stars on their death. And the Zodiac may be greek, but it is also based on stars...
