The fire that had long been extinguished in the lesser demon roared forth to life in a vortex surrounding them and the hound. The sclera in their eyes turned jet black as the white flames danced aggressively along their back. Their eyes narrowed as they glared down the demonic prince that they once looked up to though tears stung in their eyes. They readied themselves into position, their claws ready to strike at a moment's notice. They hated this; they hated everything about this, but they would not let Argos be harmed before Shane would even hear him out.
"I am Lilit; the Blade of the Incubi and the right hand of the great Judge of Lust! I have killed those who would go against him and of my 500 years of living, I have only known defeat twice," they bellowed, their flames lapping hungrily behind them, "I love you, Shane; You've been one of my favorite parts of being free and I thank the gods every day that I've gotten to know you, but I will not let you harm him! So if it's a fight that you're after, you best fucking believe I won't lose to you again".
