Finally have a standard money system for my universe! They're used as money everywhere due to actually being useful as they are chunks of raw mana that can be used to repair and charge things, ect.
Of course places also will have their own money too, but these are usable anywhere
I call them godeles.

Godeles look like geode slices, they're very shiny and pretty.

Green worth 1, standard, 1 unit.

Yellow-16 unit
Orange-32 unit
Red-64 unit
Purple-128 unit
Blue-256 unit

As they are magic, 16 greens can combine to make 1 yellow, can be combined together.

If someone has enough karma to be hero level, they will automatically pull these to their inventory wheel with a shiny sound like in old games or like og dungeon defenders

You know like

Shingy shimmery tinky noise

Slaying monsters also converts the energy of this fallen beast to the raw mana for hero level adventurers, and they will gain godeles for that too.
