Val's Notes: Continuing on our 2025 journey through Ys-Beneath-the-Waves, we check in with the fighter, Renee. Someone had made a joke with Ailinor's picture that there was "One fish, two fish, a red fish, but no blue fish..." Well here she is, catching a dangerous intruder!
Renee is the equivalent of Ys's city watch, patrolling Palace Hill and Cathedral Hill, mostly as a keeper of the peace while the dedicated soldiers of the Beg-Sabrenn range deep into the city's lower wards. When she's not on patrol, she acts as the "Watson" to her mystery-solving wife's "Holmes." She's not usually the one to solve the mystery, but she's happy to uncover clues and spring to action when the situation calls for it.
