I love this character.
I mean, sure, that's a huge part of why I love taking commissions -- working with other people's awesome character designs is always inspiring. But I've always had a thing for dark, spooky characters -- so it really was a joy to work on this. <3

Lab5 is in the process of putting together their first album, and I think it sounds pretty cool so far. I listened to a lot of it while working on this painting, so I thought it'd be cool to kind of give them a shout out here. c:

I did have some extra textures in there, but it started looking really messy and icky. ): I'll need more practice with texturing, I think...
The blood spatters might have been a good idea! I actually had considered it, but I didn't add it in for whatever reason.

Mrrowl, this is breathtaking as always. I am so in love with all of the little details you always sneak into your art, Eske. The dark, grungy look really appeals to the character design that you were working with as well. The perspective is beyond fantastic (perspective is always something that escapes me, so when I see it well done I'm always just beside myself <3).
Overall, completely fantastic. I hope the commissioner is overjoyed with it! I know I would be. :)
