ABOUT THE SERVER

MeowcaTheoRange's Minecraft server is just a server I made out of frustration of how fucked up vanilla Minecraft is.

This server is vanilla-compatible, of course, but there are a LOT of modifications.

Durability is gone, and Bundles are Braver. It's easier to chop trees and it's easier to mine ores. You can own a home and teleport to that home. Time is time in real life CST and stuff.

All the things you might love to see in a Minecraft survival server.

Territories

The server is split up into 4 territories, much like the old TrollCall server I used to manage.

There's Flame, Lightning, Mineral, and Droplet.

When you join the server for the first time, the territory you enter from will be the team you will stay with for the rest of your time on this server.

Each team gets a territory, and receives Strength for staying in that territory, plus an extra buff unique to each team.

You can also receive Strength for sticking around with a teammate.

You cannot attack your own teammates, nor any pets. Pets also do not attack players.

SERVER RULES

There are very few rules. This is mainly because mc.abtmtr.link isn't a server you should be subservient to.

Mostly, you are free to play the way you'd like to.

Duping and other glitches are sort of allowed - just don't use it to get an advantage over anyone.

You will only really be banned if you are trying to be an ass.

You can also grief, but please don't do it maliciously against the server, and especially not against your own team.

A snapshot backup system of the world is put in place to counteract mass-griefing.

MODS

The rest of this description will detail what mods are installed on this server.

It's not a comprehensive list - all of the mods you wouldn't notice aren't listed here.

AXES ARE WEAPONS

Axes Are Weapons is a mod that treats axes exactly like swords.

In Java Edition, axes are more powerful than swords - however, they still lose twice the durability when used in combat.

GEYSER & FLOODGATE

Geyser is a proxy server for Java Edition servers that allows Bedrock Edition clients to join as well.

Floodgate allows Bedrock Edition clients to join as their own Xbox account.

HORSEBUFF

HorseBuff is a QOL mod that makes horses less annoying to deal with.

Specifically, horses can sit in Rafts, and they don't wander when saddled.

It also allows you to step over blocks on a Path block, and speeds up your break speed, as if there was never a penalty.

LEASHABLE VILLAGERS

You can attach Villagers to a lead now.

Do not think about the moral implications.

NOCHATREPORTS

NoChatReports prevents your Entire Account from being banned, based on actions in this server.

It also removes Microsoft's telemetry tendrils from the server.

It is recommended that you install NoChatReports on your client.

VEINMINER

Veinminer is a mod that I was hesitant to install as I am pretty sure its icon and description are AI-generated.

Regardless, it is the only (GOOD) vein miner mod for 1.21.4.

Sneak while breaking a vein of ore to break All of It at Once.

Pretty simple.

VIAVERSION & VIABACKWARDS

The Via series allows newer/older clients to join this server.

This does not apply to Bedrock Edition, though. Geyser has its own set of supported versions.

ACTUALLY HARVEST

Actually Harvest lets you right-click to harvest and then place a crop.

BLUEMAP

Bluemap allows you to see the whole world as if you were in spectator mode, right in your browser!

Enter this server's address in your web browser, and Bluemap will be there. Good for keeping track of your friends.

BRAVER BUNDLES

Improves Bundles somewhat.

1. Place blocks in the Bundle by sneaking and right-clicking.

2. Unstackables no longer take up as much space in a Bundle.

3. Wielding a Bundle and breaking blocks will put the block you broke in the Bundle.

BULKCOMPOST

It allows you to instantly fill Composters, instead of filling them layer-by-layer.

CREEPER BACKGUARD

Creepers are sneakier now. They only explode when you look at them.

DAY DREAM

Allows you to sleep in the day to make it night ward off Phantoms.

DEEPSLATE CUTTING

Allows you to use Deepslate in the Stonecutter.

HOME UTILS

YOU KNOW. THE STUFF YOU USUALLY HAVE IN A SURVIVAL SERVER.

Use /sethome and save a home. Use /home and go to your home.

FALLING SAND

Sand, Gravel, and Concrete Powder no longer make entities to fall. Instead, they fall much like a powder simulation.

FORGIVING VOID

Did you fall into the void somehow??? This mod makes you fall from the sky if you end up reaching the void.

GRAVES

This mod just takes your stuff and protects it when you die.

HANGING LADDERS

Now ladders hang like vines. They can also be placed standing on a block.

FARMLAND TO GRASS / PATH TO GRASS

Both mods allow you to use a Hoe or Shovel to turn Farmland or Paths to Grass.

INVENTORY SORTING

Sort your inventory like never before.

Double-click an empty slot to sort, or run /invsort.

LEAVES US IN PEACE

Leaves decay seperated by type, instead of all together.

"LIMITLESS" BANNERS

Allows banners to be crafted with more than 16 layers on them.

LINKART

It lets you connect your Minecarts with Chains while sneaking.

LOOT4EVERYONE

A mod that allows each player to get their own loot from loot tables, such as Elytras and Dungeon chests.

NODURABILITY

Removes durability from tools - now Anvils are only used for enchantment and renaming.

SATURATED EATING

Allows you to eat until your saturation is full, instead of your hunger.

SIMPLE CONCRETE

Right click a cauldron and turn concrete powder into concrete.

DOOM'S STOP DROP AND ROLL

Extinguish yourself by crouching on the ground repeatedly.

STRONG LEADS

Leads no longer break.

TEXT FORMATTING EVERYWHERE

Allows you to put section signs in Anvils and whatever.

TORCH HIT!

When you attack a mob with a torch, it sets them on fire!

UNLOADED ACTIVITY

Makes siumlation distance nearly obsolete, calculating how long crops and the like have been inactive, and updating them as if they were active the whole time.

SIMPLE VOICE CHAT

Minecraft's most popular voice chat mod. Enables voice chat in-game.

WEATHER WATCH

Matches the weather in-game with the weather in Minneapolis, MN. It also does the same for the time, staying in the CT timezone.
