L'Oiseau de terreur is actually grammatically correct. Usually in French you need an article to address nouns, which would make you think it should be "l'oiseau de la terreur" (which sounds kinda stupid). But the term "l'oiseau de terreur" actually is the nickname of Phorusrhacos, a genus of extinct flightless terror-birds that existed during the Miocene epoch. Also "l'osieau terrifant" is the nickname for shoebill stork.
