Bubba got started looking for the one that sent him to the Pokémon World, and as he started looking, he heard voices, and when he looked for the source of the sound, he spotted 2 purple haired thugs behind the bushes and he realized it was Jessie and James spying on him. They were plotting to abduct him and give him over to their boss Giovanni for a ransom. Bubba heard the whole thing and grimaced at them. As he heard Team Rocket and Meowth laughing maniacally after coming up with those terrible ideas, Bubba snarled and barked at them ferociously. And James says that he was grouchy. And Meowth asks, "What ruffled his fur?" I know the saying is, "What ruffled his feathers?" but dogs don't have feathers. Birds do! Dogs have fur! So the saying has been modified to "ruffled his fur". Get the gist of it?
Anyway, Meowth asked that question after Bubba snarled and barked at him, and Jessie and James. Because Bubba is not happy about their nefarious plans and schematics, so he is confronting them directly and then he's attacking them.
Bubba kicked James in the face like a Ninja Turtle, and then he punched Jessie in the face like a Dragonball Z character. Then Meowth extended his claw and tried to slash Bubba's dog snout or muzzle with it, but he missed. Bubba evaded the claw as well as bobbed his head (Meowth's intention was to scratch Bubba's face like he did in the anime, but because Bubba's pointy snout and boxed muzzle is in the way, Meowth tried to claw it apparently, but he never succeeded. Bubba got out of harm's way), and he used uppercut to Meowth's stomach like a Street Fighter character, and he told him, "Get out of my face, furball!"
The attack was so impacting it sent Meowth and Team Rocket flying because Bubba lifted 1000 lbs back in his world, and he did many reps before being transported to the Pokémon World. That's where he got his physical strength from. Working out so much at a gym, lifting so many heavy weights and drinking so much protein shakes, Bubba is extremely strong!
Team Rocket did not know that, and Jessie said that they should've used their Pokémon against Bubba, but Meowth thought that would be a bad idea because Bubba is so strong he would send them flying like he did with Team Rocket. He threw them all out like garbage. Then he thought about paying their boss a visit to confront him directly because Giovanni has been working with the criminal organization for years and he never got arrested. So Bubba wants to teach him a lesson, too. So he rushes to Giovanni's headquarters. Stay tuned for the next chapter.

Yeah, Ash will expect Team Rocket Jessie and James to do their usual thing but they'll eventually find out that their boss is defeated and they will not know what to do without him. So yes, Ash will be surprised that things will change. One of his friends will tell him that Bubba made a difference in life when he dealt with Team Rocket (mostly their boss). It's like attacking the leader when wiping out an entire army. Jessie and James will eventually find out that their boss is defeated by Bubba when they contact him again, and then they'll have no other option but to give up and give themselves to Officer Jenny and face jail time for their crimes.
Actually, this is SFW, so Bubba is gonna put his forearm to Giovanni's throat (no blood), then Persian will attack him like a raging tiger, but Bubba will dodge the cat and grab him by the belly and throw him on Giovanni then beat the spit out of them (figure of speech) then throw them out the window (censored action. You will see a spark and words which indicate Bubba's actions)
