I was finally able to get a picture of a dragonfly, they're usually too fast and too quick to flight when it comes to approach, but luckily one happened to land right near me as I was cutting some wood for making charcoal.

This is a male Erythemis simplicicollis, or common pondhawk according to my book.

Very neat to see this, I even managed to get my dinky Kodak to focus well enough to get a good look at the wings. Unfortunately I was unable to get some frontal shots.
