Alectorfencer and I are pooling our talents for this piece for Eurofurence this year. Much like we do for Red Lantern, she produced the backgrounds for this image, and I'm in the process of creating the characters. She gave me a fantastic background, and I was like a kid in a candy store. . . allowed to go nuts and do. . .just about anything I wanted with it. Eurofurence's theme this year is 'Kung Fur Hustle' and I knew immediately I would want to do a piece indicative of one of the five major styles.

Now I'm sure there're a bunch of kung fu nerds out there who could nitpick me to death, but I only briefly took kung fu in college, and my instructor practiced dragon style, otherwise known as Lung Ying. This piece's story is of a yung foo dog, who wants very badly to receive the training of a great river dragon. The piece will take shape over the course of tonight, and probably tommorrow, and I thought I'd upload some WIPs along the way. The dragon has just begun to take shape. Our young Foo dog will come next, on the other side of the composition. Stay tuned!

I wouldn't bother fav'ing this. It's a wip, and will be thrown into scraps once the final piece is done.
