Someone, somewhere is watching, first as the bots assume control over the poor engineer's metabolism then as they push the girl into hunger unlike anything she's ever known before. Given the hard to detect nature of the infection she's unable to acquire time off and finds her frequent rounds through the space stations narrow ventilation ducts becoming more and more problematic until one fateful evening she's unable to gain entrance to them at all. At that point our mysterious infector no longer needs to monitor Vicky through hidden cameras and the relayed feedback of their drones, they can see the beaver swell in real time as she becomes the subject of station-wide speculation and ridicule~ **
