Any ways Kiya was inspired by a German Shepard mix I meet on a hike in the Grand Canyon. She didn't have a collar and no one was with her but she was so nice. She actually walked me out of the canyon for around 10 miles. Every once in awhile she would turn around and make sure I was following her. I wanted to bring her home so bad but we already have a dog plus my parents won't let us have big dogs. But one thing I know is that I will never forget Kiya. That's why I made a character in her honor.

By the way the pouch on her harness contains extra ammo for her owner or any other Marines.
