A macrophage is a mutated form of the microphage that has spent too long within a high concentration of Life leyline energy. it causes the cells of the microphage to divide constantly, resulting in a large grotesque creature with a voracious appetite.

-A Macrophage will grow at the rate of its consumption until it reaches a height of around four to five feet. Grossly overfed macrophages will grow even bigger.
-A macrophages pseudopods are specialized, and secrete a viscous, sticky goo that it can fling at a target. While the goo itself is not dangerous, it severely inhibits motor function, allowing the relatively slow macrophage to catch up and engulf its prey, where it is held until it suffocates.
-Macrophages have developed a heart like structure that is connected to many vein like tendrils that spindle throughout the body cavity. when prey is absorbed, these tendrils will inject an acidifying agent into the creature, slowly turning it to a liquid food. The substance is then pumped back into the heart and distributed through the body.
-Like microphages, the macrophage has a singular eye. However its body is much more transparent. The eye is not a weak point however; the macrophage has the ability to move the eye quickly from one point of its body to another, and will reactively dodge any incoming threats to its eye.
-When fighting a macrophage, all weapons are highly ineffective, as they will get stuck in the body of the creature and then absorbed. The only exception is a piercing weapon that is able to cut through the slime and pierce the heart. Other effective methods are extreme cold, which can be used to harden the body and cause it to shatter.
