A couple years ago we started a side campaign taking place before our main campaign. Siprien was a butler from a noble family turned fighter, and Ponikk (like most goblinoids) was a villainous pillager. I figured these polar opposites, connected by a shared story we played, would make for a fun (non-canon) monster fusion.
