The son of Ragan and Freya Krakatoa, the former being regarded as the strongest fire elemental in the world.

At a young age, Jaden heavily admired his father’s strength and skill, and wanted to become a warrior just like him. Ragan was reluctant to teach his son at first, as his teachings were rather...extreme from the perspective of others. Freya, on the contrary, was willing to help Jaden how to control his elemental abilities.

However, after Jaden's eighth birthday, Freya never returned home. Despite their best efforts, after a whole year of searching, no one was able to find a trace of her. It was as if she had completely vanished off the face of the earth.

This momentarily soured things between Jaden and his father, as the latter fell into a deep depression and started to grow distant of his son. But Ragan realized that he couldn't allow himself to lose his son like he did his wife, and so began Jaden's ruthless training in the coming years.

During his high school years, Jaden grew a close friendship with two other dragons around his age at the time, Willa and Marduk, a water and earth elemental respectively.

However, this friendship would all come crashing down after a deadly incident between the three during a graduation party, resulting in Marduk being sent to rehab, and Willa left in a coma.

While Ragan managed to pull the truth of what actually happened and drag Jaden out of the fire, the damage had already been done. Jaden was now left a broken dragon, cold and unforgiving when provoked, and fearful of making any other friendship that could likely fall apart.

Now, he has since moved into Aderis City to study in Oberios Academy, in order to continue his remaining goal to become a warrior like his father, and find potential leads on what happened to his mother. Of course, things wouldn’t be easy as, despite wanting to keep a low profile, he would find himself creating new enemies to fight throughout there, and other neighboring academies.

However, he would also become entangled with others that may help him reignite his spark of friendship, which all starts with an angel dragoness... named Illya Vysebern.

Hey, I remembered my other sona, Jaden Krakatoa!

Ok, for those who don't know, Jaden here is basically my "second" sona after Ignis Draco, where he's slightly more like myself, introverted and mostly quiet.

Whereas Ignis is part of an over-the-top sci-fi action setting, Jaden is moreso part of a down-to-earth, modern day setting, (though elemental magic is part of the world he's in, but I digress). This is also why he has a somewhat more simplistic design compared to Ignis.

So yea, after revamping all my Harbingers OCs, I thought I'd take a step back and revamp my other OCs, like Jaden here.

No extra pages or anything, just a simple portrait of the guy in my new art style.

And yes, his GF Illya Vysebern is up next.
