So
flogandhark Was really impressed with this piece I gifted him and really loved it, I haven't done that much Graffiti recently because I was struggling with the art style with the Breaking Colors comic, and navigating its complex story So I decided to have a little fun
The thing I like about graffiti is that, although it has many unspoken rules, graffiti is for everyone and doesn't have a deadline or high expectations and you don't have to do it illegally and you can start your black book right now on FA if you want, whether it's physical or digital
Weirdly, I see the act of doing graffiti as for of private prayer... hear me out...despite graffiti being over the build boards and other public spots, sometimes it's mostly incomprehensible, hidden away, or both and is only meant to be shown to other graffiti artists that understand the culture and after that its either forgotten or washed off and the cycle starts again
It's a Sisyphian task that goes nowhere At the end of the day, the only way graffiti artists preserve their work is through photography They spend money on supplies and put themselves in danger of getting arrested, and yet they still do it as escapism. or to fuck shit up it's the perseverance aspect that I like about it and It can also apply to posting art hear aswell

Fr I appreciate the artwork, I will cherish it from here on out.
I agree too on the whole statement on graffiti, at the end of the day, is just another variation of art and is STILL DOPE ASF fr everytime I see the train pass locally, I see all the nice tags going by and some of them are pretty asf.
