Original MLP character.
Britannia Sky is a pegasus pony who talks with an accent not unlike that of a stereotypical WWII British RAF wing commander.
Her cutie mark represents her skill and prowess as an aeronaut as well as her innate ability to effectively command and organise squadrons of pegasus ponies into flying formations/displays, etc.
Courageous, honest, but also stubborn, Britannia likes to take control of a situation. Occasionally she suffers from attacks of arrogance which blind her to suggestions offered up by her peers.
I've had ideas for some more original ponies; I may do those also; I may not.
I also thought about doing a spin-off comic with original pony characters but I doubt I'll get around to it.

Well, yeah I'm a fan of the show. I just had this idea for a Union Jack inspired pony but it kinda evolved into a RAF inspired pony because that made more sense what with the option of a pegasus pony instead of a regular (earth) pony.
I don't think RD is the only pony with a multicoloured mane anyway, but they're not overly common.

Of course not, other wise a lot of the other Pegesi and maybe even the other ponies would have multicolored manes and tail, though some do, just not the way that Dash or your pony does. I think at the very least I've seen a bunch of ponies with at least two colors in their manes and tails, but more then that? Nope.avi.
Oh, that wasn't a complaint! Actually, I think this is one of the most visually satisfying of all the RAF/WW2-themed British ponies I've come across, and there have been a few. It doesn't take much stretch of the imagination to see Britannia Sky in some sort of "Biggles" equivalent of the Daring Do books. Actually, I could see her working in the show itself on exactly that basis. Plus, I'm biased on account of being from the UK myself. =:P
