I've had this done for about 3 months now, but never got around to taking a proper picture of it. I wish the picture could have come out just a little bit better, but, eh...

This is my first painting, ever. I've never even thought of using paint before, but I couldn't find any other medium to fill such a large canvas. So I thought "eh, what the hell." So I grabbed a brush and got to work.

It was entered in a local art show and won 2nd overall in paintings @_@ out of like ten trillion other paintings. WHAT?!
My first time painting ANYTHING, and I win 2nd place?! I'm still wondering if they made a mistake somehow...

The dragon is based off a concept sketch of Toothless from the HTTYD art book. I fell in love with the sketch, so I just had to bring it to life in my own way.

Done with acrylic paints on poster board that is about 3.25 by 2.4 feet.
