Maple and Orchid aren't just clanmates in New Atlantis' research corps, but they're also longtime friends and... a little more ^_^ Here they've taken a break from a scouting expedition and decided to add a bit of cuddle time to their relaxation. Fairly common among a lot of scouts, actually. I mean, you're off in the wilderness, usually the only ones around for miles and miles, and everyone's generally pretty friendly with each other.
I wanted to use this piece to show more lore for New Atlantis, along with its tech. This is supposed to be solarpunk, so take a look at their gear. Flexible solar cells are integrated into Maple's cloak and Orchid's sleeves to act as portable power generators.
