The Museum is housed in the old Cook County Sheriff's Building (Illinois) which was renovated for use by the Niles Historical Society. While the building was "unoccupied," Dan Akroyd filmed part of "Date Night" on the second floor (the courtroom scene). The bldg is circa 1923. I am the Administrative Assistant stationed there by our Village Hall.
