Primary ref sheet for my Canid Protohuman OC (and fursona), Query Cavalli.

Formerly human, Query was seriously injured in a large explosion at an industrial park in Carson, California in the dead of night. Near-death, his unconscious body was discovered by a pair of scientifically-inclined Protogens (an alien species in this universe), who saw an opportunity to test out Protogen tech on another species. They saved his life, and yet drastically altered it in the process.

Query awoke to find himself back in his home, with no memory of anything that happened after the explosion. After panicking about his radically different appearance, Query set about trying to live life as normal- of course, there was the gawks from passersby, the visits and tests from the Feds, the awkward family gatherings, but hey, What else can you do? Time waits for no Proto, and just because your flesh melted off in a refinery explosion and you got turned into a cyber-canine anthro thing doesn't mean that you don't have bills to pay or a life to live.
