She’s the head Priestess of the temple for the goddess Ayida-Weddo. She’s also apart of Alpharita’s council. She’s the one in charge of the temple. She’s very caring to her fellow priestess ‘s and to community. Her generosity knows no bounds.
Her Temple also runs an orphanage. She loves to dote on the children. she’s had visions about her goddess sense she was a child, So she was given to the temple in her teens to be trained to hone in those visions. She’s part of the council and she makes sure that goddess will is enacted on. she watches out for the goddess best interest.
Note: The clothing she wearing Is the traditional clothing of the Taino people. People only wear these during festivals and certain events to honor the ancestors and spirits. Priestesses are the only ones who wear them every day. Islanders don’t wear them as casual clothing.
African Caribbean runes are greatly ingrained in the different parts of islands and Mainlands. It’s very popular to get these symbols tattooed ,carved, or painted on your body and other belongs.These runes Enhances the user and their surroundings. These runes have different effects depending on their symbols. The runes were left over by the Taino ancestors when they left some time ago.
These runes can be found anywhere in the isles and even further. Which is another reason why schools for magic users are important, so they teach islanders how to use them.
There are 4 temples in the rainbow isles that were built before the ancestors left to go somewhere else.
• temple of Ayida-Weddo: first temple made by the Taino people to honor the rainbow goddess before she returns to the heavens. The temple sits right on the outskirts of town. The Taino people were the first ancestors of the islanders
• temple of Atabey: second temple made by The Taino people to honor the moon goddess before she returned to the moon. She’s predates all mortals and gods alike. The Taino people and the other natives worshiped Atabey for a long as they existed. They also practice ancestor worship. The temple resides in the heart of the city. Alhparita’s older sister became a priestess at this temple.
• temple of Mami Wata: third temple built by the Taino to honor the water goddess when she first arrived in the isles. Shes one of the deity’s that’s stories and powers transfer over with the immigrants and travelers. Her temple resides within the ports of the city.
• temple of Yúcahualso: first temple made by the Taino people to honor the sun ocean god before he returns to the sun. He’s one of the children of the goddess Atabey . He was the supreme deity of the Taino . The Taino were his chosen people. His temple resides by the coast a little bit to the temple of Mami Wata.
