According an interview, the only newer Digimon to be part of the game are the humanoid Agumon and Gabumon.
The DLC will add 15 Digimon , unknown to this date. I can only hope for the Angoramon line

in another words, no Ghost Game, no Seekers, no Liberator, 99% old Digimon only
there's a DLC set to be released next year on September at least, which will include more 15 Digimon, hopefully to be newer ones. So this is my passive way to express I'd love the Angoramon line to finally debut in a videogame
Still, the fact they'd use such a small pool strikes me as a bit foolish, considering how many Digimon there are by now. Even Cyber Sleuth had as far as Frontiers, even if it was only 6 of them, but they were there.
and also thanks to you, I hope for Angoramon line, because they've grown on me!
