The bulbous-nosed heeker (otherwise known as a logdog) is probably one of laziest magical creatures. Capable of shapeshifting into logs, they are ambush predators that wait for unwitting creatures (or humans) to sit on them, which is when they strike.

However most of the time, they cannot be bothered to do much of anything. They sleep for most of their lives and don't do a whole lot while awake. The friendship of a heeker is easily bought by offering them food, because being given their meal is far easier than having to get it themselves.

The heeker and the logdog used to be separate creatures but they were too similar so I ended up blending them. This creature was created all the way back in 2013, one of the first creatures for this universe actually.
