This is a high-resolution version of my new FurAffinity Avatar/Profile picture that I drew, today, on Microsoft Paint (the Windows XP version), as usual. I manually rendered this high-resolution picture by enlarging my new profile picture to three times (3X) its original size (from 96x96 pixels to 288x288 pixels - note that the that the actual picture you're seeing is 1440x1440 pixels) and then carefully redrawing the picture according to the "slope" of the pixels on different features to create the picture you see now, which has a very angular, low-poly[gon], computerized look - which makes sense as it was drawn on (not by) a computer and is based on a lower resolution version of this same picture that I drew as obvious pixel art before I got the Idea to enlarge it by manual render.
I decided to draw Gio in a "follow me" walking pose and drew in the text that reads Gio Anthro as well as the copyright year (2025) with a copyright symbol directly above the copyright year of 2025. Originally, I was just going to have the letters that read ANTHRO just be flat colored turquoise (or blue-green) pseudo-3D letters. Instead, I added a descending gradient to the letters to give it a more period-correct (80s, decade) appearance, in addition to the neon pink background with an orange-red-yellow gradient border around it. I thought it would be cool to do and liked how it turned out. This picture is at 75% Luminescense with a tint of 32 Red, 8 Green, which is a dark shade of brown.
This is an example of something that AI (Algorithmic Imitation) can't do, as the skills and expertise required to create something like this with primitive tools (Microsoft Paint, or whatever equivalent program, method, or medium you use) could not be prompted (how you tell the Algorithmic Imitator to "create" a picture from an "input" of text or image), as merely trying to describe the process to the Algorithmic Imitator to get an equivalent (or better) result than this would be impossible without myself or another human being of equivalent skill and ability being present to do all of the work first so that the Algorithmic Imitator can then copy it. That fact alone is why I will never use AI (Algorithmic Imitators) to create my art. I didn't get this good with Microsoft Paint by using AI (it didn't exist when I started 20 years ago, at 9 years old, doing this just for fun - and, still do, at almost 30), and refuse to give up my creativity for the magic, Pandora's Box that is AI, as it steals from real artists (like me, as well as others) to commodify creativity for people who don't have it and just want to use the creativity of myself and others to entertain and enrich themselves or the corporations (Google, Microsoft, OpenAi, etc.) putting out this garbage at the expense of said artists because they don't want to pay people for their work (this isn't limited to just art, either). The whole point of AI (Algorithmic Imitation) is to replace us, as human beings in everything, including art. If AI does everything, then what are we supposed to do, just do nothing and die? They've already started with creativity and art, so when does it end?
