Meet Mynos.
He was inspired by a dream I had, which you can read here:

He is the only one of his kind, a mythological, Italian bird.
The story for this picture is (you need to read the dream to follow) he finally decides to go back and rescue his beloved, and in exchange for her release, he would remain with the king willingly.
The king agreed and freed his daughter- and then sent her far, far away so she and Mynos could never be together. Bound by his word, Mynos remains with the king, his pet, his trophy....his prisoner. He waits, hoping that someday his princess will return to him, and they can be together.
