You had just finished moving into your new apartment in Indigo City, and one of the first things you wanted to do was visit the nearby store so you could stock up on food and drinks. You recall a friend warning you about the manager of that store, something about a bad temper? Eh, you're sure it doesn't matter and you head over to the store. When you arrive, you realize that it's going to be a lot harder to find the particular stuff you were hoping to find, as the store is massive.
You spend a while looking around trying to find what you are looking for, but are struggling to do so. It's then you spot an employee alone in the next aisle over stocking the shelf, and decide to ask him for some help. The employee in question was a massive Dusknoir, and when you tapped his shoulder to get his attention, his singular glaring eye snapped towards you with a piercing glare. You ask him where you could find a specific item. Instead of telling you he audibly groans and points in a general direction. You decide this is enough and go search in the area he pointed, and sure enough you were able to find the item. Only problem is you have the rest of your list to go through, which is going to take hours at this rate. It's then you think back to the Dusknoir you just encountered, as maybe he can help you speed this up. You eventually find the Dusknoir again and ask where the next thing on your list is, and he makes another sigh before silently pointing in another direction, and you head off to find the item. You do this several more times, speeding up your shopping, but noticeably irritating the Dusknoir more and more with each time you asked him. You brushed this off though, as you imagined as long as your paying for everything, why should he be complaining? You're money is going towards his paycheck after all.
At least, that was what you thought before going to ask him for the last thing on your list. You saw him at the end of an aisle and start making your way towards him, but that's when you saw the angriest scowl from a singular eyeball you've ever seen. You only made it halfway down the aisle before you saw a glow emanate from his hand, and then suddenly your body was glowing the same color. He then made a pinching motion with his hand and you started to notice everything becoming bigger and bigger around you. He was shrinking you! You attempted to run, but by this point you've shrunk so much that you barely covered any ground. Eventually the light around your body vanished and you stopped shrinking, only to be left as small as an ant, if not smaller. Realizing he's stopped shrinking you, you turned around to see him start walking over to where you were. As he did you saw him remove his shoes as he walked, his now bare feet slapping against the tiled floor with each step, all while he never broke eye contact with you. You think about running under the shelving to escape him, but it's too late as he's already on you before you had a chance to start moving. He slams his heel down on the ground while keeping the opposite end of his foot hovering in the air over you. As he does this, you can see what looks like other micros dotted around his foot. You're pretty sure they were all still alive, but they were pressed so deep into the Dusknoir's sole after spending so much time in his shoe, that it was somewhat hard to see them. You also couldn't tell if they were normal micros or other shrunken shoppers that are currently being punished by the now even more giant ghost Pokemon. You then look up and see him staring down at you through the gap between his toes, and it's then you hear his voice for the very first time:
"If you're that insistent to keep bugging me, then I'll treat you like the pest that you are..."
His voice boomed due to the sheer size difference between you and him, but you could still pick up the cold and angry tone in his voice. You started an attempt to plead with him, saying you'll leave the store immediately once he grows you back to normal size, but either he can't hear you or doesn't care what you have to say at this point. He then brings his foot down on top of you. To him it was just the sound of a slap against the tiled floor, but to you it was as if an entire building just fell on top of you. Your world goes dark as his giant sole enveloped your tiny body, your senses now being overwhelmed with the smell, feeling, and even taste of his foot. How long am I gonna be down here for? Is the last thing you think to yourself before you pass out from the overwhelming power of the Dusknoir's foot.
Ambrose simply let out a sigh of relief once he brought his foot down. Finally. he thought, Now they will finally leave me alone. He applies a little pressure and grinds his foot to make sure that the newly created bug gets firmly pressed into the ball of his foot and sticks there. Once he's done that, he walks over to where he dropped his shoes so he can pick them up. Admittingly it did feel nice to take his sweaty feet out of his stuffy shoes and lay them on the cool tiles. He would do it more often, but customers would often look at him funny if he did, like that one that is staring at him from down the aisle. All Ambrose had to do was simply look at them and the staring customer quickly skedaddled away. He then crouches down and slips his shoes back on, sealing his new passenger along with the other ones back inside their stuffy and sweaty prison. He grunted and he stood back up, scrunching his toes inside his shoes and squeezing a few unfortunate prisoners that ended up between them. He's about to resume working when a sudden thought occurs to him. Hmm... I should text Hashim to come over. He loves this sort of thing too. He then whips out his phone from his pocket and began to text his Garchomp friend, occasionally applying pressure to his feet to elicit a crunchy sound and feeling from the little bugs now populating his shoes. They shouldn't need to worry as eventually he will release them, but they likely won't come out of this unharmed, especially with Ambrose bringing in Hashim to the equation. Let's just say the bugs will be smelling like and tasting Dusknoir and Garchomp feet for a long time.Holy moly once I started writing this I just couldn't stop. Haven't made a short story this detailed since my first Burton commission~
Got this piece of fanart from a certain
DarkZeus after I learned he was not only a big fan of my Garchomp, but also of my angy Dusknoir boi! Once again I can't thank him enough for creating this! I'm so glad to see Ambrose getting the love and attention he deserves (even if he doesn't like to admit it~)Art created by
