He's one of the background ponies and appears in varous episodes. he actually does get to speak once in Ep. 16 "Sonic Rainboom" when Dash sneaks up and switches entry numbers with him and that number is called.

Man, shows how much I pay attention.

He also had a speaking role in the episode introducing the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

There's also another version of the Doctor that shows up in the final episode, though his colour is different, its assume it might be one of the older doctors for this sole reason! Controversial? FA has such a wide array of content when it comes to art that I can't see any reason against these pictures - the very least not more than against any of the other topics widely depicted in any form of art.

Part of the reason people don't like it is because it's heading in a similar direction to the whole Sonic and Pokemon things. I don't care for either of those, but I don't yell about how much I HAET them simply because I'm not a fan.

I am a fan of MLP:FIM, and I'll gladly rave about how much I LOVE it, but only when appropriate so as not to fuel the troll fires.

Crap like this should never become "controversial" in the first place. The whole fucking point of this fandom is love of cartoon animals. What are MLP, Sonic and Pokemon? CARTOON ANIMALS. Nobody who calls themselves a fan any of them should be complaining about the others, because they're all the same fucking thing--shows about cartoon animals.

I am not a fan of Sonic or Pokemon although artwork of either doesn't bug me. If I see someone I watch post art derived from either show and I don't care for it, I just skip over rather than make any sort of complaint. Besides I am likely watching for *something* I like.

I have done anthro Pokemon nudes from time to time for friends who are Pokemon fans, it doesn't bug me at all and no one has yet complained.

I don't rave how much I love MLP:FiM either here; I will talk about it with fellow fans openly, sure, but I don't get in anyone's face who doesn't seem interested, that is just being a dick.

Furry is a lot of thing to a lot of people, but for me its about the art of anthropomorphized animals (using the broadest term of giving any human characteristics to, not just making them humanoid).

I think you did a great job! I can't imagine why MLP:FIM is controversial over on this site. The fandom should be delighted that it's doing so well!

It's popular, so for some people its the "I hate it because its popular" bandwagon. For some I think because FiM fandom, like all fandoms, suffer from its share of hard-core fanatics who get in everyone's face with their "bronieness", and that can be very annoying to those who are not fans, and to us who are fans but are not fanatical nuts.

Ahhh...now I see. Yeah, okay, that does make sense. A few bad apples spoil the bunch. Quite a pity, too, because it really is a good show

Wow, I didn't think it was possible for this show to get any more nerdy. Now the only way for it to get even nerdier is to put all of the characters in Star Trek uniforms. While holding Light Sabers. Inside of The Matrix. At Hogwarts. On the Na'vi planet. On the way to Isengard. While quoting Monty Python dialogue. And playing Dungeons and Dragons. I think that's it.

Because of the "It's popular, now it sucks" trope. Because some fans, like some fans in every fandom, are a bit too enthusiastic. Some folks just hate cute, and some feel their ma-cheese-mo threatened.

Glad you put this up. I've seen this on Equestria Daily and thought it was quite well done (funny too). Then I saw it pop up here.

That had me look at the rest of your gallery and go "OH, I've seen this before, I didn't know they were posting here.", and that led to reading the very well articulated journal on posting fan art. So, maybe you lose some people because of this, maybe you gain some.

Also, fanfics aside, Twilight really would make a great companion for the Doctor IMO. She's knowledgeable, resourceful, tactical, and ridiculously powerful. Her constant rationalism might grate on the Doctor's nerves a little though, since he doesn't seem to like listening to reason.
