Ep 1, Part 3 || Archives || Ep 2, Part 2
The thirteen selected canines get their first taste of the Pound - the massive, luxurious mansion where they'll reside for as long as they can survive the challenges American Canine Alpha will throw at them. But it falls to Edge, the winner of the last selection challenge and automatic finalist, to decide who will get to experience the lavish living quarters at once, and who will have to... wait a little bit longer. Friendships form, alliances begin, and dynamics move at full speed. Will these bonds be set in stone? Or will these canines learn to adapt?

It is a nice set up so far. May I ask more about the themed rooms? Is everything in the room the same color, or different shades of the same color, or how exactly does that work? Depending on the shade, I'd probably lean towards the blue room.
I also don't think I'd be overly offended if I wasn't chosen to go to the mansion first. It is all part of the game and they'll wind up there eventually regardless, assuming the outcasts don't get eliminated before that. And I wouldn't have behaved in the same manner as the ones chosen to enter the mansion straight away, so I'd probably have stuck out unnecessarily there anyway.

Now if you remember last season, every bedroom in the Burrow had a different theme (jungle, ocean, savanna). This time around the rooms have been refurbished in different colors, corresponding to the theme art of the season which heavily revolves around the use of red, white and blue - as you for sure have noticed in the promo pic and cast bios. I assume most of the furniture is different shades of the same color, visually setting them apart from one another although being similarly furnished and equipped.
As for Edge's choice, I can say no one gets to truly rest until they set foot in the Pound... and many more surprises are coming up in the next installment. This choice is pretty meaningful and you'll see why ;)

It's quite wholesome to see the 'downtrodden sixsome' as Jaxon puts it bonding together so nicely like that, but considering the kind of competition they're in, doubt it's gonna last for long.
And I kinda expected when the 'Early Pound' group are barely past the door and already planning on who to backstab XD
Lovely start to the real competition. ;3
