Sad/tender moment.

Arty's mom had postpartum depression after she had Arty and that lead her to starting drugs. Buddy soon found out and divorced her getting soul custody of Arty. The day of the hearing to see who was the more fit parent to take Arty, his mother actually showed up high and had some cocaine in her purse. She was put in jail and Buddy has been a single parent ever since.
