Let's put it this way: their meeting takes place after quite a long time, so Kodiak has a more powerful chest than before. In addition, this is an alternative version of the story, where Steele realized in time that Balto was not to blame for his origins and became the hero's friend. Kodi adores Uncle Steele and trains with him to become a strong dog in his homeland, and the malamute helps him. The previous match didn't go very well, so Steele is worried, but Kodiak is ready to help his mentor by talking to his father.
Nah haha I'm good, thanks though. Feel free to write and submit on your page tho, maybe not like huuuge huge multi-paragraphs here in the comments cos it can kinda clog things up in a way. But yeah, would be interested in reading and checking out if you do happen to write something proper x3
