Finally, I'm so excited to make this announcement! My debut novel 'Phase Three' will be available to purchase in just under three weeks time! You'll even have the option of eBook or paperback — digital eBook pre-orders are now possible via Kobo.
Two decades have passed since Earth was ravaged by extraterrestrial, self-replicating robots known as the machines. Wrenn was raised in Fort Rush, a utilitarian outpost constructed to withstand the apocalypse. When exploring a ruined city, she encounters Delta, an anthropomorphic snow leopard with a mysterious past and a bold plan. Can they stop the alien machines for good? Unwittingly, Fort Rush becomes the staging ground for a battle that may define the future of Earth. The conflict between civilisation and invasive robots runs parallel to themes of transition, gender, and what it means to be human when humanity is all but gone. For some more literally than others.

FAQ
How do pre-orders work?
Pre-ordering allows you to reserve the eBook before the release date (15/07/25) and receive it (digitally) on launch. You'll only be charged when the book is released. More details are accessible on the Kobo website. Pre-ordering is not available for physical books.
How do I read the eBook on Kobo?
You can read via: (1) an official Kobo e-reader, anywhere you download the Kobo app or even via the web reader. That means you will be able to access the book on your desktop computer or smartphone without needing to buy a specific e-reader.
Why can't I buy the book/eBook on Amazon?
I will not be making 'Phase Three' available on Amazon Kindle due to several concerns about the use of AI on the platform/ecosystem. I also want to avoid low quality print-on-demand paperbacks, choosing to instead support a UK-based printing company.
How long is the book?
Phase three is ~175 printed pages or ~45,000 words, which is somewhere on the novella/novel boundary. To provide context, when printed as a typical UK B-format paperback, this makes the book approximately 1 cm thick.
Is the book NSFW?
No. This book is written for adult audiences but does not contain anything lewd or smutty.
