As artists we always do gift art for each other, ranging from little doodles in a card to big pieces such as this one…
Earlier this year we took our first trip to Disneyland Paris. I hadn’t been in 20 years and she had never been to any Disney park. We had an incredible time and have spent much of this year wanting to go back. Of course I had to draw our fursonas, Charlie and Tiny, visiting DLP in their Disneybound outfits. Appropriately today is also 626 Day.
This was such a big piece that I was legit worried it wouldn’t be done in time. I’ve had major art block recently and it takes me a lot longer to get anything done. I only started this three days ago but I’m happy with the level of detail I achieved in that time. Maybe I could’ve added shading or other characters in the background as I originally planned but I think it would’ve ultimately detracted from the overall image.
