Really pleased to share this exceptional speedpaint of Abalus by the wonderful Leilryu (Isvoc)!
Abalus is a wonderfully floofy woodland dragon and his design is thanks to Isvoc, who created him about a year and a half ago. My focus for commissioned art as of late has been on Abalus, as he really has a special place in my heart and has become one of my favourites across all my characters (and I have a few!). It's awesome to see him in art created by Isvoc once more in this piece. I provided Isvoc with a few ideas, and then let her work her magic... this is the gorgeous result. Abalus is soaring above the forest, and it's a flight full of joy... he is a woodland dragon, and nothing makes him happier than to be flying free and exploring the forest below. The backdrop on this piece is breathtaking, and there's just something so heartwarming to me seeing a dragon in it's element, happy as can be. As I said to Isvoc, this piece has me smiling ear to ear. (Abalus, too!)
