Clogger by name and by nature but heck sometimes you just got to go for the bad stuff and enjoy it as treat because it just tastes sooooo good from the kitchens of
edocatastrophi
want something as a rare treat? something greasy to sink your teeth into? this is my horrific creation playfully known as "the clogger" by my mate.
the recipe is as follows.
ingredients
1 pound of hamburger (your choice of what grade, i use the fattier kind, c:)
1 stick of butter
paprika, salt, pepper, your choice of burger spices, and garlic powder.
1/2 cup of shredded cheese
2 slices of american cheese
2 semi hard/chewy small sub rolls
first take the pan, heat it up on medium high heat, and prepare your hamburger. mash it up nice and good to get a creamy consistancy, if you like, you can put butter in the burger to get a nice smooth texture, but i highly doubt you'll want to after reading all of this ;). take the hamburger, and make a little cradle in your hands, take the shredded cheese, and fill the burger with the cheese, form a patty around the cheese, carefully making sure that all holes in the burger are sealed (this is tricky, it might take a few tries)
cook your burger fully, all the while seasoning it with your mix of spices, make sure to use a meat thermometer to cook it fully, this burger is THICK so it'll take a while to cook.
quickly pull the burger off of the heat and onto a small plate, leaving the pan and all of those yummy chunks and butter drippings. you'll need to add the rest of your butter if you already haven't, and melt that, while you're doing that, put the american slices on your resting burger for them to melt.
take the sub rolls, and first on the bottom side, toast them well in the butterery pool in the pan, yes, they should soak up the butter. then toast them on the other side until you get a golden greasy completion.
assemble as seen in the picture (two buns side by side, burger in the center) and ENJOY!
