I am building a new group of characters who will be crew members of the commercial starship "Phoenix". Their story will be starting soon.
M'Lertiña is a Caitian - Thirdwife to R'Murran and mother to Ner'ritn. She is the ship's paramedic, but most of her time is spent as teacher and minder to the various children on board. She has a pet Grrbl - a desert creature from her homeworld - which is a mischievous attention lover.

could be hexapedal but developed bipedal locomotion just like simians as they evolved into chimps and humans, the ancestors had the ability to run on all fours like the gorillas today, but these lil buggers could be developing a partial bipedal locomotion, perhaps to move things around (such as to drag its owner to feed it)
