A short break from the dog show pictures before I get back on with the show. Heh.
Meet our newest, Kohda, a Karelian Bear Dog. Everyone thinks the breed has to be some HuskyxBorder Collie mix. Nope!
Kohda had been sick before we got him and lost a bunch of weight, but is gaining it back, now at extra speed with satin balls.
So yes....Karelian Bear Dog. The Karjalankarhukoira.

I kinda hope that not too many people learn about them, though I do want to see their numbers get them to AKC recognition. They're fantastic for the right person, but I don't see this breed working out for too many people.
This is the breed where I got my fursona's name from(their Finnish Name), and my fursona does have a side form in the breed. It's actually amusing me quite a bit because the 3 main forms she has..worked with camels, owned an Ibizan, and now own a KBD.
