Sorry this one took so long to get out! My editor has been really busy lately, and wasn't able to sit down and really read much till a couple of days ago.
I had some slightly different plans for this chapter, but in the editing phase, wound up cutting a fair bit of it out to be used in the next chapter. Personally, I think it was for the better, as it allowed me to focus more on some of the personal aspects of our two main characters, especially in a way that feels believable for future events.
Thanks for reading! I can't even express well enough about how much I enjoy writing this, and having people that come around and read it!! ;u;
