Ty's always been a fan of combat sports, but only pushed past his anxiety and self-doubt to start training for it himself a few years ago. His skills are still very much a work in progress, but he is passionate about it and working hard to improve; preferring to face more experienced (and skilled) opponents in order to push himself to rise to the challenge. As a result his win-loss record is less than stellar, but to his credit he's improving quickly and much better than most with his level of experience.
